DAY 40: “RAINY NIGHT TRIP TO IKEA” 2007

I was headed to Ikea. We needed a new piece of mass-produced furniture I’d spend hours assembling because their directions kinda suck. I don’t remember what I bought, but I remember the rainy drive. From the soggy darkness and slick streets emerged traffic lights, tail lights, store lights, illuminated signs, and street lights. 

Vibrant light and brilliant colors … They made me smile.
